Taylor Alison Swift is a popular American singer, songwriter, model, and actress who was born on December 13, 1989, in Reading, Pennsylvania. She was born into the family of Andrea Gardner Swift and Scott Kingsley Swift.

According to the available information, her father was a stockbroker, and her mother was a homemaker who brought up Taylor and her younger brother, Austin.

 

She spent her childhood on an 11-acre Christmas tree farm in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. When Taylor was just nine years old she and her family moved to Wyomissing, PA, where she attended West Reading Elementary Center and Wyomissing Area Junior/Senior High School. At 9, Taylor started music professionally, she performed in Berks Youth Theatre Academy productions of “Grease”, “Annie”, “Bye Bye Birdie” and “The Sound of Music”.
