Olawale Ọlọ́fọọ̀rọ̀ Ashimi is a popular and one of the most successful songwriters singers and show performers in Nigeria over the years. He is popularly known by the stage name Brymo.

 

He was born on 9th May 1986, in Okokomaiko, Lagos, Nigeria. According to the available information, his father was an Awori carpenter. On the other hand, his mother was an Egun small trader.

 

Olawale Ọlọ́fọọ̀rọ̀ Ashimi attended an Islamic school where he learned how to recite the entire Holy Quran at an early age because it came from a Yoruba Muslim family in the southwestern part of Nigeria.

In 2002, Brymo and his friends established one music group that is known as The Aliens. Unfortunately, the music band was disbanded in 2005 after numerous disagreements between the band members.
